Tells what to do in case an American citizen becomes seriously ill or injured abroad: how to locate appropriate medical services, inform family, arrange for insurance ahead of time, etc. Suggests how to find detailed info on physicians abroad. Contains lists of names and phone numbers of both U.S.-based and foreign Air Ambulance companies, as well as Travel Insurance Companies.

If you are cruising in tropical waters and eating the fish, you need to be aware of the risks of ciguatera poisoning. Aside from asking the locals where it is safe to eat the fish - and conditions change from time to time - there has not been a scientific means of testing.
