Tells what to do in case an American citizen becomes seriously ill or injured abroad: how to locate appropriate medical services, inform family, arrange for insurance ahead of time, etc. Suggests how to find detailed info on physicians abroad. Contains lists of names and phone numbers of both U.S.-based and foreign Air Ambulance companies, as well as Travel Insurance Companies.

Aside from asking the locals where it is safe to eat the fish - and conditions change from time to time - there has not been a scientific means of testing.
