Cursed by the Radio Gods

Family and friends:

Well, the radio gods have been uncooperative, so sorry we haven't been able to get out for a few days. Email by high frequency radio is definitely an imperfect science.

Today we rocked and rolled into the Honolulu time zone. Our noon position was 36 deg. 01 min. South by 165 deg. 09 min. West, 209 miles east of the same time Tuesday.

The winds have been fresh, varying from the quarter to the beam, making for some nice speed. Not much going on out here. Haven't read any good books, seen any good films or gone to any good restaurants. Same port tack, same crew, same weather, same surroundings and it's all just fine.

Tomorrow we will reach the half way point on our little voyage, so we plan to have a little party which will include a turkey dinner. Come on by if you are in the neighborhood. We'll leave a light on for 'ya.

Cheers, George, Paula, Phyllis, Steve, Dale and MaiTai
