Motorslogging - 10 October

Family and friends:

There's not much to report and the conditions are not exactly conducive to creative writing and typing. We have been motorslogging and pounding into 15 to 20 knot headwinds and choppy seas since dinner time last evening. The good news is that we have only 225 miles to go to Auckland so we should be tied to a dock by late tomorrow evening. The champagne will be chilling

Speaking of dinner, we dispensed with the traditional turkey "half way party" dinner last night in favor of surf and turf. No reflection on Todd's excellent culinary skills, but the Minerva Reef "surf" was a lot better than the Tongan butcher's "turf."

We'll let you know how we're doing tomorrow.

Cheers, George and crew.
