The Malaika Reports

Lynne and Chris Morgan (and their dog Takoon) are sailing around the world aboard Malaika, a 39-foot steel cutter. In South Africa, they refitted Malaika with recycled wood and hand-me-downs, then they sailed across the Atlantic to South America, the Carribbean, and back to Colombia (where they survived a pirate attack). They're currently in Panama. Their zest for adventure, and their ability to live the cruising dream on a tight budget, will inspire all who long to cut the dock lines and head for distant horizons.
